The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) have released interim guidance to provide employers and workers with information and guidance on preventing occupational exposure to the Zika virus.
The OSHA-NIOSH guidance contains recommended actions for outdoor workers and their employers on ways to prevent or reduce exposure risk.  This information is important for agricultural workers, and National Farmworker Jobs Program grantees and State Monitor Advocates who also spend a great deal of time along side farmworkers out in the field, as well as outdoor workers in other industries and healthcare workers.
